O’ Neal: US companies are ready to introduce their technology to Mongolia

The President of Mongolia N.Enkhbayar was called on by Mrs. Michel O’Neal, Deputy of the Vice Minister for International Trade of the US Trade Ministry.

The President N.Enkhbayar underlined, “The USA is our third partner. During the President of US G.W.Bush’s visit to Mongolia, he expressed, he agrees that Mongolia is the US third partner. This partnership relations is significant for the bilateral economic cooperation” and he expressed his believe that USD 285 million non-refundable aid from the US Millennium Challenge Corporation to Mongolia will make a great contribution to the development of our country.
In turn, Mrs. O”Neal informed to the State Head that the US Trade representative are visiting to Mongolia. And Mrs. O’Neal talked, “American businessmen are meeting with Mongolian counterparts on an issue of partnership. Among the US business representatives, there are representatives from movie restoring companies. They are talking about how to restore Mongolian movies which were made during the socialism period. Representatives of Rio Tinto and other mining companies are also visiting. The US companies are ready to introduce their up-to date technology to Mongolia. They have a willingness to work beneficially to each of the side and compete fairly in Mongolian market. Government officials are also included in the business team”.
The Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Ambassador from the USA to Mongolia Mark S.Minton, and an advisor of the President Economic Policy B.Namkhaijantsan were at the meeting.
